Old houses tell good stories. We’ve saved you a seat at the table.
Who We Are
The Fabled House is both a place and an idea. A historic home, kitchen, garden, and creative space rooted in the belief that beautiful things happen when we slow down, pay attention, and make room for one another.
Part home, part studio, part folk school, part hospitality space, and always a work in progress, The Fabled House is a place for creativity, curiosity, and connection.
Through classes and gatherings, Lilith Haus Baking Co., our gardens, Lore Literary, and whatever good things grow from here, we're building a space where people can come together to learn, create, and belong.
Because we believe the best stories aren't just told. They're lived. We’re so glad you’re here.
Classes & Offerings
Pull up a chair. There are beautiful things to make.
Our classes are intentionally small, welcoming, and hands-on—designed to give you space to learn, create, laugh, and linger. Whether we're baking bread, making pasta, arranging flowers, or putting words to paper, each gathering is an invitation to slow down, try something new, and enjoy the company of others.
Gatherings
Life gives us plenty of reasons to gather. We think they're worth celebrating well.
They're the ones where conversation lingers, candles burn low, bread is passed from hand to hand, and no one feels rushed to leave. The Fabled House exists to create space for those kinds of moments—gatherings that are simple, intentional, and remembered long after the last plate has been cleared.
The Bakery
Something good is in the oven.
Lilith Haus Baking Co. is a small-batch home bakery rooted in sourdough, seasonality, and the simple pleasure of making good food by hand. From crusty boules and baguettes to focaccia, hand pies, and whatever else the season inspires, everything is made slowly, generously, and meant to be shared.
Good bread. Naturally harvested yeast. A little bit of magic.
Sometimes stories start with a seed.
The gardens at The Fabled House are just beginning—rows of cut flowers, plans for market bouquets and small gatherings, and a growing fascination with the old-fashioned language of flowers.
It’s a garden still very much in the making. We can’t wait for you to watch it grow.

Good Stories Help Us Find Our Way Home.
Lore Literary is the literary publication of The Fabled House—a seasonal collection of poetry, essays, short fiction, conversations, and other beautiful things, created to be read slowly or listened to, as I read them to you.
Our first issue arrives September 22, on the autumn equinox.
The Fabled House began with a simple dream: to create a place where people could gather well.
A place where the seasons are celebrated, creativity is welcomed, bread is shared warm from the oven, and strangers don't stay strangers for very long.
I'm Beth, and it's my joy to welcome you here. Whether you've come to learn a new skill, celebrate a milestone, or simply spend a few hours in good company, I hope this old house feels like somewhere you've known all along.
